I love going here, though the bathroom might look like a breaking bad scene, their burgers and fries are delicious, I rarely eat burgers with tomatoes and pickles but at this place, I would eat with them. The place itself is less crowded which is great to get your food easier and the people who work there are nice and get what we like to have :D. Clean place(minus the bathroom then again, boys) Plenty of seats, and decent prices for a family of 8. is I could walk to them since I live nearby so it perfect!
Ham & Egg breakfast sandwich and coffee. Hamburger Express never disappoints. Sandwich was on point so was the coffee! Hot and stout!
The Asada Burrito hit home. It was a generous size and hot. The onions and salsa gave off strong fajita vibes, which I loved. No filler beans or rice inside. Nice gooey cheese. It did come with nicely cooked spanish rice as an accompanyment on the side to the burrito. Pricey, but not a lot of places make a burrito like this. Worth it.
Great food and great service! Huge portions and everything was made fresh. The onion rings and zucchini fries are made in house and the salsa is also made from scratch! Friendly staff and clean dining area with plenty of seating. Price is very reasonable for the amount of food. Definitely recommend!

I've tried many Hamburger places & they don't compare to the Taste,Flavor & Cost as Hamburger Express, on Workman Mill Rd, Whittier. Their Cheese Burger Combo w/Fries,Zuchnni or onion rings are the Best and Delious... The place & RR is very clean, excellent service. Ty, Hamburger Express Cook,Servers & Employees...
I've always wanted to try this spot and never got a chance to while I was attending nearby Rio Hondo college. This restaurant can be found off Workman Mill Rd and has indoor seating as well as a drive thru. I was really craving a BLT, and that's my go-to sandwich when I want to get a feel for how good a place is. It was a good meal-no notes! Exactly what I wanted. The exterior looks a bit run down and the drive thru line took awhile with only a couple cars in line. But, hopefully means we are getting freshly made food! If so, I don't mind the wait. I'd go back to try another favorite soon- zucchini fries!
I wanted to update and share again how incredibly tasty the burritos are made here! Picked up an asada burrito and chicken burrito on my way home. To my fellow lactose-intolerant yelpers like myself, it is possible to ask for no cheese! The restaurant sounds like it is a burger joint, but don't let their name deceive you. Their menu has a good portion of Mexican food options. But namely, burritos are my favorite!! There's this goood, addictive heat from the meat that taste great! Pro tip to save you some time: I recommend calling them ahead and phoning in your order. It's too convenient to not to do that. Location is great in between two major freeways. Throughout the year, I've been visiting here during lunches and picking up for dinner!
